Where to see bristlecone pines

  • Wheeler Peak: Hike from Wheeler Peak Campground to the Bristlecone Pine Interpretive Site located on the glacial moraine below the east face of Wheeler Peak.

  • Mount Washington: The largest grove in Great Basin National Park is located on Mount Washington. Access is difficult.

  • Eagle Peak: Located near Eagle Peak on a ridge between the Snake Creek and Baker Creek drainages.
